Getting started

How 21ST AURA works

A marketplace built so the important information about a vehicle is visible before anyone picks up the phone.

Buying a car

  1. Step 1

    Search the marketplace

Filter by make, model, price, year, odometer, region, fuel, transmission, body type and whether the seller is a trader or a private seller.

  2. Step 2

    Read the disclosures

Each listing states WOF expiry, registration expiry, condition notes, damage disclosure, finance disclosure and service history.

  3. Step 3

    Message the seller

Enquiries run through 21ST AURA messaging so nobody has to publish a personal phone number or home address.

  4. Step 4

    Inspect before you buy

Arrange your own inspection or pre-purchase check. 21ST AURA does not inspect vehicles or handle payment.

Selling a car

  1. Step 1

    Create your listing

Work through the guided steps: vehicle details, pricing and location, compliance dates, disclosures and photos. You can save a draft at any point.

  2. Step 2

    Add up to 10 photos

Upload clear photos of the exterior, interior and any damage. Reorder them so your best shot leads.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm your declarations

Before publishing you confirm your information is accurate and that you accept the platform rules. Traders also supply Consumer Information Notice details.

  4. Step 4

    Manage enquiries

Reply from your account, mark the vehicle as sold when it's gone, and archive the listing when you're done.

A note on obligations. Sellers are responsible for meeting their own obligations under New Zealand law, including the Fair Trading Act and, for motor vehicle traders, the Consumer Guarantees Act and Consumer Information Notice requirements. 21ST AURA structures listings to support those requirements but does not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance.
